B) I feel a personal need to thank you. During your presentation i turned around to tell my best friends behind me to quiet down so i could pay attention and they immidiately turned on me, telling me to quit ruining their fun, acting like i was a total traitor. On the bus ride back to our school i thought alot about my friends response and your speech and i was so inspired. Today i've thought about the people i've surrounded myself with-much like you talked about yesterday at your lecture- and i realized. Its so true. I've been surrounding myself with people that bring me down soo much... and they're my best friends! I just wanted to let you know, your speech helped so much. I was starting to feel so lost and so helpless.. when really all i needed was to look beside me, BEHIND me, and infront of me. :)
